I would like to send a heart felt thank you from our family to the staff at the Fernie Stanford Resort. 

Last week we were headed on a family vacation to BC from Calgary and had a planned to stay at our favourite resort, "The Stanford".  We like the location, atmosphere, and our young boys particularly love the waterslide! We woke up on the Sunday morning to head out of town bright and early to discover our truck would not start.  We were not able to get the truck fixed until the next day and would have to stay another day.  The staff very graciously assisted us with rebooking the room, and helping us order food, etc at no additional charge.  We were very surprised and grateful of this unexpected support and would really like to express our gratitude for the Stanford's outstanding customer service.

As the snowflakes fall and enthusiastic skiers gather from across the country, the Stanford Resort welcomes another exciting ski season in Fernie, BC!

What a wonderful evening! On Thurs Dec 4^th, the Fernie Stanford Resort hosted our annual Ski Season Kick-Off Party in our new restaurant - the Mountain Tandoor.  With every seat in the house taken, the restaurant was bustling with our friends from the local Fernie business and hospitality communities. Guests enjoyed authentic East Indian cuisine including tandoor chicken, lamb curry, butter chicken and fresh naan bread.  All those in attendance also celebrated with our wide selection of wines, Christmas spirits and traditional desserts.

The Stanford Resort Fernie Hotel sends many thanks to everyone including the tour operators, accommodators, real estate agents, Tourism Fernie members and our friends from the Fernie Brewing Company who all helped make this year’s event another huge success!

We look forward to seeing all of you out on the slopes and inside the Mountain Tandoor restaurant for delicious après ski meals.
